I'm quickly realizing there's nothing that can make a man feel more gay than buying a house. Suddenly, before you know what happened, you're planning outings to Bed, Bath & Beyond (by beyond, I'm assuming they mean the living room?), and HomeGoods. You try to maintain some semblance of manhood by making frequent visits to the power tools department at Home Depot. But it's hard to do, essentially futile, when you're shopping for duvet covers and you haven't even the slightest idea what a duvet is.

PS: Why is President Bush "looking forward" to his trip to New Orleans? Wouldn't that be like that like looking forward to a trip to Auschwitz? What's he looking forward to? The cadaver-lined streets? The toxic fumes? The lawlessness?

I'm confused about one other thing. Bush is passing a bill to spend 10 billion on New Orleans. Seems awful cheap if you ask me. Considering we just spend over 200 billion on Iraq. But what do I know. Maybe he had a coupon for water.
