Raegan and I checked out one of the restaurants near our new pad: Bill & Bob's Roast Beef in Woburn. I'm sure you've all heard of the place already as they had the word "Famous" emblazoned in bold on their sign.

We weren't sure what they're famous for, but we guessed it wasn't for the fried mushrooms (which fried holes in our tongues) or for the veggie sub, which was basically a roll with some sliced onion in it — which doesn't sound like something a place would become famous for. Unless the sub was served by maybe Pamela Anderson in a bikini.

Which it wasn't. It was served by a guy with a tight t-shirt and a handlebar moustache who joked about beating his kid. Maybe that's it. Maybe they're famous for beating their kids. Anything's possible, I guess. In Woburn, anyway.

The roast beef was actually pretty tasty. Plus, it might turn out to be a good place to write. Very kitschy. Lot of old codgers farting around.
