This whole mortgage business is making me crazy. They keep coming up with new things for us to insure. I mean, come on, Title Insurance? What the hell is that? Why not have Pencil Insurance to make sure the tip of the pencil I'm using to sign the document doesn't suddenly break off in the middle! Or Mental Stability Insurance to cover us in the event the whole process drives us both suddenly mad. I still don't understand why we have to pay the mortgage company for homeowner's insurance when we're getting insurance through USAA. It's like I have to have insurance to insure that I have insurance!? Is that it??

With all the crap that's being flung around, I have trouble believing everything is actually gonna come together in the end, that eventually, we'll have a house, and that at some point we'll actually start living in it.
