Not much going on house-wise. Yesterday our agent gave us a call to tell us the inspector was able to turn on the water and get the sprinkler going (the house came with an underground sprinkler system). So that's good. We'll still have a lawn when we move in.
Also, Raegan remembered to have the inspector check the heating system (it didn't work during the inspection itself, but the inspector guessed it was because it was about 10,000 degrees out that day). So anyway, he checked it again and not only did it not work, it started smoking. So they're gonna fix that, too.
I realize none of this is very funny or even interesting (even to us). I include it only as a service to others and to provide a complete, unabridged account of all the mishigas.
Hopefully, things'll be funnier tomorrow.
