The heat finally broke and Raegan and I drove into lovely downtown Malden to sign the P & S agreement. Of course, I had trouble not laughing whenever our agent said P & S. I'm real Beavis & Butthead that way.

Then we handed our agent a check for more money than we've ever handed over to anybody before in our lives — something on the order of nineteen g's. So, whoosh! Nineteen big ones gone just like that. Enjoy it and good luck to you.

Technically, we still aren't totally set with our financing. I mean, we're all set on our end. Our mortgage company is going to have our commitment letter ready, apparently one day before our deadline on Aug 15th. Oy! So there's not much we can do until then except maybe the occasional rain dance so our shrubs don't dry up.
